What a treat to join an incredible organization for a day of getting people with varied challenges out on the Northwest Arm for a sail! SaleAble is a fantastic organization and the folks who run the program are top notch. I was astonished with the equipment that they had available to get folks into the boats. A great time was had by all, including the group of RBC employees who volunteered to make the event possible.

RBC peers from across Metro Halifax, and REACH Atlantic, gathered on a very early Sunday morning to set up for the KHP Walk So Kids Can Talk. This is our 5th year proudly supporting this event, raising awareness and funds for such a critical cause. "Kids Help Phone has become more essential than ever before. So has our goal of transforming to meet the needs of young people in Canada. Our commitment to showing up for youth in distress has never wavered. As a part of our strategic objective of maximizing access, we’re committed now more than ever to reaching more people in every corner of Canada."

Thanks to Michelle Connors, Jordan Saunders and Amanda Saunders for showing up for the community and serving lunch to the Special Olympics bowlers and their families this past Saturday at the Royal Canadian Legion in Bedford. What a great time.

This past weekend was the Christmas Daddies telethon, and I spent 4 hours volunteering. It was one of the more moving volunteer opportunities that I've been involved with, as most callers had a story to share about why they support Christmas Daddies. It was touching, draining and fulfilling all at once. Congratulations to the organizers for another top notch event!

So pleased to be able to help Wendy Wagner and David Savoie sell the most incredible Santa hats, made with love and care by Wendy and her daughter, all in support of Phoenix Youth. We attended the Holiday Luncheon today and sold out!!! What a great day!
