This past weekend I participated in the fundraising event "Dancing with the Shuswap Stars" to benefit the Shuswap Hospice Society. It was a successful event with the participating dancers raising over $41,000. I was voted Peoples Choice for most votes and raising the most amount of funds in my category at over $5250 which included an RBC Community Togethers Grant for $1500 to benefit the Shuswap Hospice Society. The Final tally for the night still to come! I had a wonderful time learning the Cha Cha Cha with my partner Alex and participating in this wonderful community event to benefit the Shuswap Hospice Society.
